FOUND DEAD IN BED
GIRL WHO LEFT HOME FATALITY AT BOARDINGHOUSE. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 13. A single woman named Doris Jane Read, aged 23 ,employed as a tailoress, was found dead in bed at a boardinghouse in Newmarket last evening. The coroner (Mr Hunt, S.M.) has ordered a post-mortem examination to be made. At the formal opening of the inquest, the father of deceased said that his daughter had lived at home unal May 3. She then left home as the result of a 44 tiff,” and he did not know where she had gone. She was then in her usual health.
