FOUR CHAMPIONSHIPS
PALMERSTON COMPETITIONS HONOURS FOB WANGANUI The following special awards were won at the Manawatu .Competitions by Wanganui competitors:— Ladies’ vocal championship: Miss Doris Symes. Ladies elocution championship: Miss Muricllo Craig. Girls elocution championship: Miss Marion Brock. Dancing championship: Miss Joyce Hayward. Trophies were presented at the idemonstration concert on Saturday night by Mr Nash, M.P., before one of the largest crowds seen in the Palmerston North Opera House.
