PRINCESS JULIANA
COMING OF AGE HOLLAND CELEBRATES Received May 2, 1 a.m. (A and N.Z.) THE HAGUE, May 1. There is great rejoicing throughout Holland at the coming-of-age, at 18, of Princess Juliana. She is now entitled to an income of £16,000 a year and her own palace. There were 80 people present at the Royal banquet last night, when Queen Wilhelmina, in a touching speech, referred to the responsibilities Princess Juliana would some day be called upon to undertake, and commended her intention to prepare herself by study at the University of Leyden, which she is entering in the autumn.
