EIGHTH SERIES CONCLUDES. Received April 29, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, April 29. The eighth series of wool sales has concluded. The market showed no change on the previous sales of the week-end. The irregularity of fleet lines continued whilst skirtings, crutchings and lambs’ wool made late rates. Crossbreds were unchanged and scourings met with a poor inquiry. Greasy Mehino sold to 253 d. ANTWERP SALES LIFELESS. Received April 29, 5.5 p.m. ANTWERP, April 28. At the wool sales 3000 bales were offered, but only five were sold. The market was lifeless. BRADFORD TOPS MARKET QUIET (Received April 29, 8 p.m.) (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, April 29. The Bradford market is quiet, topmakers showing a tendency to book forward at lower prices. Quotations are unchanged.
