i balance. i Complimentary reference was made to the assistance received from officials from other centres and the secretarv v. as directed to write thanking them. | A special vote of thanks to the Misses’ ; Penny for providing lunch for officials ; on sports day was recorded on the minutes. and the secretary was directed ito write expressing the appreciation of I members. A vote of thanks to the . presi<lent for his efforts in connection ■ with the preparation of the track and for his hospitality on the day of the meeting was passed and directed to be recorded in the minutes. Several members expressed appreciation for the amount of work Air Penny had been instrumental in having done. A general disc.usison took place regarding the conduct of the sporta and suggestions for r.ext year’s gathering were noted. The secretary reported that the certificates for the McKelvie Shield competition had been sent out and that the Horn blow Certificates had just been received from the printer and would be sent to the various schools in the course of a few days.
