WORLD-WISE MAGISTRATE GIVES HUSBAND A “WHEEZE” LONDON, April 27. “My wife has returned to her mother and won’t do anything for me,” complained a man in the Thames Police Court. The Magistrate: Leave her alone and she will be chasing you everywhere in a few weeks. Complainant: She is not a woman of that sort. The Magistrate: Don’t be pessimistic. If she idoes not return I will give you another wheeze.
