"MURDER 1 POLICE!"

UNFORTUNATE YOUNG MAN HALLUCTNATIONS SYDNEY, April 27. Momentary alarm was caused in Lithgow yesterday when a passenger in a motor car, which was travelling at a moderate pace along the Main Street, besought the aid of passers-by with cries of ”Help! Murder! Police!” Many residents went after the car, and were informed that the unfortunate person, a young man, was being taken for safe custody to the Lithgow police station . The previous night the young man, who held a ticket from Cowra to Sydney, left the train at Wallerawang, apparently under the hallucination that his life was in danger. At this centre he implored to be protected, and ho was handed over to the police.
