LOST HIS LICENSE
INTOXICATED MOTORIST. (Per Preaa AsaoefuSoe.) AUCKLAND, March 8. George ‘Frederick Cross (32) will not be permitted to drive a motor vehicle for the next twelve months. Mr McKean, S.M.. decided that way at the Police Court this morning, when Cross pleaded guilty to being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor I car yesterday. ■ The Magistrate said that there was I little to be said in mitigation nf the offence. Cross would be fined £2O, in idefault six weeks’ imprisonment, and i his license was also cancelled for twelve j months.
