TOTAL CLEARANCE

DUNEDIN WOOL SALE GOOD PRICES OBTAINED HALFBKED RECORD ESTABLISHED (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, May 8. The third wool sale of the Dunedin series was concluded to-day. A total of 26,903 bales was offered for the sale, some 1003 more than the total of the second Dunedin sale and practically a complete clearance was made under the hammer at prices that must be considered satisfactory to growers. Bidding from the commencement was very keen, and this keenness was maintained right throughout the series. Bradford and America operated freely, but competition from Continental buyers made the sale move from start to finish, the bulk of the offering falling to their bids. Tho wool was in excellent condition, and compared with the February sale here, values were fully maintained. Record prices for the Dominion for the season were established, 'by one line of exceptionally sound, bright and well grown half-bre<X wool making 25d. The range of prices was as follows: d d
