BULLS-OHAKEA CLUB SUCCESSFUL GATHERING HELD. (“Chronicle” Special Reporter. The annual sports meeting of the Bulls-Ohakea Sports Club was held on the Bulls Domnin on Saturday in ideal weather. There was a large attendance, the gate receipts being over £5O. Mr J. Linklater, M.P., presented the Vile Shield and congratulated Marton Junction School on winning it. The cup given for most points in the running events was won by C. Ledingham with wins in 100yds., 220yds, and 440yds. The Scouts’ Challenge Cup wtis won by Alarton, with Durie Hill second.
