There was a particularly good inquiry for ewes and the whole yarding was cleared. Quotations: Light fat wethers 22s 4d. fat lambs 24s 9d, fat maiden ewes 255, fat ewes 14s 2d to 15s aged ewes 6s 9d, 7s 6d, 8s 4d to 9s 6d, m.a. owes Jis 4d to 14s 2d, 4 and 5-year ewes 17s 6d, 18s 2d to 19s 2d, small b.f. lambs 9s 6d, medium w.f. lambs Ils 7d to 12s 4d, b.f. lambs 15s 2d to 16s lOd, 2-tooth wethers 20s 4d. 4-tooth wethers 22s 4d, 2-tooth ewes 26s 7d. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held a sale at Mangaweka on Thursday. There was a moderate yarding of sheep and cattle. Quotations: Small lambs 6s 2d, b.f. lambs 13s Id, 4 and 5-year ewes 17s 4d, aged ewes 5s 6d to 9s Bd, weaner heifers 13s, wcaner steers 15s, yearling steers 355, 18 months steers £3 10s, empty cows 325, bulls £3.
