MILLER GUILTY
OIL LEASE SCANDALS DAUGHERTY INDICTMENT QUASHED NEW YORK, March 4. The jury in the second trial of Daugherty and Miller, in connection with the navy oil lease scandals, after deliberating for over 70 hours, convicted Miller of conspiracy, but were unable to agree to a verdict concerning Daugherty. The latter’s indictment is now 'quashed. Miller is expected to appeal.
