KIRK-WINDEYER CUP INTER STATE MATCHES Mr G. O. Sutton, Secretary of the New Zealand Golf Association recently received advice from the New South Wales Golf Council that they have now fixed the dates for the Kirk-Windeyer Cup and also the following other events in which New Zealand representatives will be able to take part:— Tho Australian championship foursomes on June 4, the Royal Sydney Cup on June 6, the Kirk-Windcyer Cup (four Lails and singles) on June 8 and 9, qualifying round for New South Wales amateur championship on June 11. The first round of match play for the championship will be on June 13, the second round on the 14th, the semi-final on the 16th and the final on lift ISth. All these events are to be played on the Royal Sydney Golf Club’s course at Rose Bay, and a committee has already been set up in Sydney for the reception and entertainment of the New’ Zealand visitors. Present indications point to the New Zealand Association being able to send over their best team, the members of which will leave Wellington on May 27, arriving in Sydney on Tuesdav, May 31.
