The totalisator handled £42,470, compared with £50,966 last year. Results:— Introductory Handicap.—3 Bridget Galingo (W. ,T. Tomkinson) 1, 1 Gold Star 2, 6 Colonel Thorpe 3. Claudelands Handicap.—l Florent (C. G. Lee) 1, 4 Van Rich 2, 6 Gold Jacket 3. Three lengths, one and a half lengths. Time, 4.35 2-5. Waikato Trotting Cup.—l Concliffe (W. INVERCARGILL, March 5. Invercargill Trotting Club’s annual • meeting concluded to-day in fine weather. There was a large attendance, and the track was in splendid condition. The totalisator handled £13,693, making the total £24,852 10s for the meeting, compared with £25,314 last year. Results:— Trial Handicap.—3 Pert Pointer (J.
