AUCKLAND CHY COUNCIL CIVIC SQUARE MATTERS. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 4. After another protracted debate on tho civic square proposals the Auckland City Council last evening rejected tho report of the Sulman Commission, and the situation is now as it was before the commission commenced its inquiry. Tho Council was unable to reach a decision as to what should he done with the site, a series of motions and amendments concerning its disposal being rejected.
