WANGANUI DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB CAEE CUP. On Saturday tho Wanganui Defence Rifle Club fired their last shoot for the Carr Cup. The weather was fine, with a tricky wind, which proved too much for several good shots. The best score off the rifle was put ,up by Rifleman Caseley, scoring 33 at the 900 yards range, Simpson and Paterson running him close with two 31’s. Caseley won the Carr Cup by two points from Manssen. It is a pity this promising young shot cannot make the trip to Trentham. Alanssen won D. Kinning’s special prize. Results:—
