Mr and Mrs Richard Taber and Mr and Mrs Hale Norcross, of New York, members of the 44 1 s Zat Sol” company, were registrations at Foster’s Hotel yesterday.

An invitation has been extended to the Melbourne cricketers, at present in the city, by the Wanganui Boxing Association to attend the association’s contests to-morrow night.

Lady Alice Fergusson, who has been indisposed since last week, is making good progress towards recovery, but is unUble for th© present to make any public engagements, according to a Government House circular issued last night from Auckland..

The Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association on Monday night passed a motion of sympathy with Mr C. V. Wilson, of Wanganui, in the death of his wife. Mr Wilson was at one time secretary to the Wellington Cricket Association, and is a life member of tho association.
