OVER THE BANK
FATALITY ON THE PARAPARA MOTORIST FOUND IN KAKATAHI CREEK About three miles above Kakatahi store, on the Parapara Road, a farmer yesterday found the body of a man underneath an overturned car. The car and the body were lying in the Kakatahi creek some 80 to 100 feet below th© road level. The police proceeded to the scene of the accident in the afternoon and found that the deceased, who is believed to be William McCulloch, of 8 Bates Street, Wanganui, had apparently failed to negotiate fa. hairpin bend and so had driven over the cliff. The body was brought into Wanganui late last evening. Deceased, who was a commercial traveller, had been in the King Country and he wfas expected home on Friday last. The car was badly smashed and was found overturned on top of de* ceased.
