A HANDSOME GIFT
UNIVERSITY BENEFITS MELBOURNE, Feb. 14. Mr Robert Ritchie, of Pcnshurst, has made a gift to Melbourne University of £40,000 in memory of his son, Captain Ritchie, who was killed in the war. He expresses the wish that £30,000 be used for the establishment and endowment of a chair of economics, and £lO - 000 be added to the funds of Trinity College, Melbourne.
