RUNAWAY TRAILER
A MISCHIEVOUS BOY ONLOOKERS GET A THRILL. Time hangs. heavily upon the hands of some boys, as was demonstrated at Castlecliff on Saturday afternoon. To beguile away the time and perhaps to sco what happens when the brakes are released on a trailer, some small boy decided to make the experiment. The trailer was standing upon the down-grade just beyond the loop at the tram terminus, and after the brakes were released it soon gathered speed. Careering off down the remaining length of track it came to rest against the rails recently erected to prevent motor vehicles from driving on to the beach, with, disastrous results to the post supporting this barrier. Later a tram and trailer were coupled to this waywqjd unit of the tramway system and the wandering trailer was once more restored to tho rails.
