WANGANUI CENTRE TOURNEY SECOND DAY'S PLAY. DUFF SUFFERS FIRST REVERSE. The second day of the Wanganui Bowling Centre’s Christmas tourney took place yesterday, the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds being played. Sections A and C continued play on St. John’s Green, while Section B played on the Wanganui green. Tn Section A the fourth round resulted in fairly easy victories in each game while there were no close fights in the fourth round of Section B. There were two tight finishes in Section Cat St. John’s green. Reid, Benefield and Williams are even in Section A with five wins and one loss each. In Section B Crawford and Reynolds each have 5 wins and one loss, while in Section C Duff and Gordon are equal with 5 wins and one loss. Duff met his first reverse when London beat him 19 —9 in the fifth round. Duff’s play has been remarkably consistent so far during the tourney. Results:— SECTION A. Fourth Round. Benefield 23 v.
