PILOT KILLED
ON SERVICE FLIGHT AEROPLANE CRASH IN VICTORIA. Received Sept. 6. 1.10 a.m. MELBOURNE, Sept. 5. A service aeroplane proceeding from Point Cook crashed near Geelong. The pilot, Sergeant Wells, who was the onlyperson aboard, was killed.
