A Constitutional Defence League has been formally organised at Shanghai with the object of promoting international opposition to tho principles of the Third International and Communism. The League will educate public opinion and ensure social and economic anij industrial progress on constitutional lines, including amelioration of the con ditions of life and labour of the Chi nese. The general committee contains rew resentatives of fourteen nations, inolui ing Chinese.
