The first prosecution in tho Dominion under the Legislature Amendment Act, 1924, whereby the registration of those qualified to vote is made compulsory, was heard at Hamilton to-day, when Selby Robson and his wife, Lydia Robson, wore charged with failing to make application for enrolment. Tho ease was brought as a worning. The Court convicted tho defendants and ordered them to pay 7s costs.
