AN IMPROVED DEMAND. [Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 22. Tho entries for to-day’s Addington market were smaller than usual, and there was an improved demand lor I most classes of stock. I Store Sheep.-—A very small entry, mostly wethers. The demand was brighter than for some weeks. Good I 4-th and 8-th halfbred wethers, 25s to 26s 4d; ordinary 4-th 6 and 8-th haff--1 bred, 23s 3d to 23s 8d; 2-th halfbred wethers, 22s 8d to 255; sound mouthed ewes, 27s to 28s 3d. Fat Lambs. —A heavy entry of 2000 head, which Was keenly snapped up by butchers. Good medium weights made a full lOd lb; heavy weights 9(1; extra prime lambs, 34s 6d to 36s lOd; primo lambs, 32s to 345; medium lambs, 29s 9d to 31s 9d; light lambs, 27s 6d to 29s 6d.
