SISTINE CHOIR SOLOISTS. MONDAY’S FAREWELL CONCERT. Music-lovers will have a final opportunity on Monday evening of hearing the incomparable Sistine Choir Soloists. As before, the first part of the programme will be devoted to the old Italian music, which will be presented in the picturesque court costume of the period. The composers drawn upon will include Luca da Marenzio, Alessandro Scarlatti, Yommelli and Vcneziani. The last named will be represented by a madrigal, “Dolce Sera,” which is said to be a fitting complement to this composer's beautiful “Mattinata. ” In the modern section the full company will be hoard in the introduction and chorus from Bellini’s opera, “Norma,” and also in Signor Paganelli’s “Agnus Dei,” which will be conducted by the composer in person. There will be two operatic duets, that from the first act of “Don Pasquale,” which will be sung by Signori Paganelli and Belli, and the duet “Enzo, Grimaldo” from Giordano’s opera “Andrea Chenier,” by Signori Facchini and Burani. Signor Sarti will sing the Falcon Song from Mascagni’s “.Isa beau,” Signor Belli the aria “ Inf elice, ” from “Ernani, ” and Signor Auchner “O! Casto Fior,” from Massenet’s “Il Re di Lahore.” Signor Facchini will be heard in the aria. “Mi par d’ udir,” from “The Pearl Fishers” (Bizet). Signor Paganelli’s contributions will include A onimelli’s “La Bella calandrina,” ami ‘Ah’ non credevi tu,” .from “Mignon.” The favourite prologue to “I Pagliacci,” (Leoncavallo) will be sung by Signor Burani. The box plans are now open at H. I. Jones and Son Ltd.

GARDEN PARTY THIS AFTERNOON A garden party in aid of the funds of St. George’s Church, Turakina, will be held at “Dalvey, ” Mr H. Y. Lethbridge’s beautiful home, this afternoon. Farm produce and flowers will be on sale. A very enjoyable time may be looked forward to by those who attend. Motors will meet the express at Turakina station.
