MUINCIPAL PICTURES. “THE LOST CHORD.” Another good attendance was recorded at the Opera Hoiise last eveni ing, to sec the Whitman Bennett production “The Lost Chard.” The famous song of the same title, which is known the world over and has become a musical classic because of its beautibul melody and sentiment, furnishes the idea around which the story of li.' ’.j- n Rennett production, is based. seems in his grasp when he wins the daughter of his dead sweetheart, but again fate intervenes. This time he sacrifices his own love that the girl » may be happy when he finds she is j really in love with his nephew. The i east is headed by David Powell, Alice i Lake and Fairc Binney, who give good ! performances. Dagmar Godowsky as a 1 ' amp and Henry Sedley as the villain- ( ous husband give able support.
