MARTON STOCK MARKET
A SMALL YARDING. Abraham and Williams Ltd. report on their Marton sale on 3rd. inst. as follow's: —We had a small yarding of 500 sheep, 40 pigs and 30 cattle. The market was a bit slack, but wo sold the bulk of the entry as follows: fwd. ewes, 30s lOd; m.s. 2-tooths, 355; fat ewes, 38s; small shorn hoggets, 24s sd; woolly wether hoggets, 30s to 33s lOd; m.s. hoggets, 28s Gd to 32s Id. Pigs.— Weaners, 20s to 275; slips, 35s to £2. Cattle.—At late rates.
