MOTOR DRIVER ACQUITTED [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Nov. 3. The trial of James Bridge for manslaughter arising out of the death of Mrs Mary McKenzie at Onehnnga on August 13, when a motor truck ran into a tram wily shelter shed, concluded to-day. The jury found the accused not guilty of manslaughter, and with regard to the allegation of negligent driving said they were prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt as to the speed of the truck and return a verdict of not guilty. They recommended that the shelter shed should be removed as being dangerous to the travelling public.
