THE ROYAL SHOW
FALLING OFF IN ENTRIES. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 3. The complete entries for the Royal Show, to be held next week, total 3409, as compared with 4574 at last year’s show. The only section of this year’s show' that shows an increase as' compared wdth last year’s show, is the sheep section, in which there are 445 more entries than there were at Palmerston North. Horse section entries are 296 fewer this year, due in large measure to the very high number of entries for the competitions at Palmerston North. Cattle entries are 71 fewer this year, and pigs are 33 fewer.
