BEST IN THE WORLD
NEW ZEALAND CHILDREN. GOV ERNOR-GENERAL ’S TRIBUTE. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 3. In opening a new open-air school on the Cashmere Hills, His Excellency said: ‘‘Her Excellency and myself have seen the most splendid children in the world. Certainly the children in the Old Country cannot approach them, or any other country either. Why is it that you have such fine types of healthy children of such good physique?” pursued His Excellency. “I imagine that it is the effect of environment, of fine open air, and also because they are descendants of men and women who, as pioneers, lived such healthy, vigorous lives.”
