HAWERA SHOW
VALUABLE TROPHIES OFFERED The Egmont A. and P. Association’s 42nd annual show will be held on the Showgrounds, Hawera, on Wednesday and Thursday, November 18 and 19, and is already creating considerable interest. A persual of the schedule of classes will be of interest to all breeders of stock, many valuable trophies being offered in addition to liberal prize-money. The pig section in particular is well endowed with these trophies. The Berkshire Breeders’ Cup is offered to the exhibitor gaining the most points in Berkshire classes, and gold medals are offered for the champion boar and sow in this section. A new trophy is a eup valued at 10 guineas for the exhibitor gaining the most points in Berkshire classes at the Hawere, Stratford find New Plymouth Shows during tho present season. This eup is to be won outright. Messrs T. H. Walker and Son offer a cup valued at 5 guineas for the best pair of bacon pigs.
