A NARROW ESCAPE
SLEPT WHILE HOUSE BURNED. , [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 2. Cecil George Farrow had a narrow escape from death in flames which destroyed his home at 462 Selwyn Street early this morning. The fire was discovered about 3 o’clock by a neigh- ' hour, who gave the alarm. Farrow .did not know of the outbreak until the' i brigade arrived. The house, a sixI roomed one, was valued at £6OO, and i was insured for £4OO.
