THE GRAND. NORMA TALMADGE IN “THE LAJDY.” Norma Talmadgo has turned cabaret artist in her latest photo-play at The Grand Theatre this afternoon and evening. And as premiere chanteuse of an Apache restaurant in Paris, the star sings the latest American songs. Frank Borzage, directing Norma in “The Lady,” learned for the first time during the making of the photoplay that Norma has an exquisite voice. Norma sings to a strange collection of humanity—Chinese, Japanese, Tonkinoise, Anamite, Algerian, Moroccan, Tunisian, Italian, French, Spanish, Maltese, dark-eyed beauties from the South Seas. The picture is a First National attraction produced by Joseph M. Schenck. The supports include comedy, topical and travel subjects. On Wednesday evening election results will be screened at this theatre. The plans for reserved seats arc now open at Tho Grand Theatre office. FETE OF NATIONS BAZAAR. The Fete of Nations Bazaar was brought to a successful conclusion on Saturday evening. The nett total realised for the two and a-half days’ effort amounted to approximately £540, which is very gratifying. Archdeacon Meredith wishes to thank all those who helped to make the bazaar such an unqualifled success.
