AUSTRIA TAKES ACTION. The Austrian Government has decided to prohibit all spiritualistic societies and performances. At the Government’s request. Profesor Wagner Jauregg, a specialist in mental dis eases and the president of the Austrian High Sanitary Council, has made an investigation. In his report to the Government, Professor Jauregg proclaims against the prevailing “spiritualistic epidemic,” as a veritable pestilence. He declares that the numerous spiritualist victims in Austria's lunatic asylums are proof “that spiritualism is a« dangerous as hypnotism when used by the uninitiated.”
