THE LAWN.
This is the best time to trim the edges of the lawn. Nothing improves the appearance of a lawn so much as well-kept edges. When the l<awn is straight it is quite simple to keep them nice. When the edges are curved it is more difficult. The best way is to take a fair size piece of rope and lay it along where the edge is intended to be and cut along with a very sharp spade. If done in this way a satisfactory finish should be the result.
