ADVANCE IN PRICES. BRISK BIDDING THROUGHOUT. Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd., and Wright Stevenson and Co., Ltd., report on the Johnsonville sale held on Wednesday:—An average yarding oi' I both sheep and cattle was offered to a good attendance of butchers. Bidding | was brisk right through the sale and a i good sale resulted at prices in advance i of last week. Heavy bullocks realised £lB 2s 6d, £lB 10s, £l9, £l9 7s (id to i £l9 15s; light bullocks, £l5 15s, £l6 2s 6d, £l7 to £l7 10s; woolly wethers, £2, £2 6s 9d to £2 8s; shorn wethers, 345, 36s Id to 39s 6d; heavy ewes, £2 4s 3d to £2 6s; light ewes, £2 Os 6d, £2 2s 3d to £2 2s 9d; lambs, 325, 32s 9d, 345, 34s 3d, 34s 9d to 35s 3d; vealers, £2 6s, £2 10s. £3 to £3 Is.
