The third anniversary of the Fascists’ march on Romo was celebrated at Milan by a grand review of 20,000 “Black Shirts,” armed with machine guns, in the presence of 100,000 people. Mussolini, on horseback, wearing the uniform of a corporal of militia, took the salute. Twenty thousand militia were harangued by Mussolini, claiming ; that Fascism was a triumphant party, lit now numbered three million. Its ideals were deep-rooted in the hearts of the people.
