A WOMAN’S CONCERN
(To the Editor). Sir, —May I be permitted a little space to join in the all-absorbing topic of politics, and in its connection the Hon. Gordon Coates, the man of the past, present, and future. He has demonstrated very clearly his remarkable abilities to organise and control men, and deal with all matters of vital importance, which ho has hitherto brought to a successful issue, and which should satisfy every well thinking and honest worker who may bo interested in tho progress land prosperity of this fair and bountiful country in which this young man of the hour was born. I would therefore sincerely urge the women electors, and especially tho mothers (myself being the mother of four) to study the Prime Minister’s manifesto and realise the result which will accrue for the benefit of her children and home, so that by voting for John Coull you assure the right support of tho Government and you will be assisting in making this sound and simple policy operative for the good of mankind and country. In the candidate you have a successful business man, energetic and tactful, who I feel sure will be successful in your representation also. Anent the National Party, minus a policy, it reminds me of the two birdies my little girl talks about, namely, Peter and Pfeul, but unlike the birds in the ditty they have not negotiated tho wall to rest upon, and as birdies cannot hover on the wing for ever, I conjecture they will drop into the sea of oblivion on November 4.—1 am. etc., WORKER’S WIFE. .
