WANGANUI EAST STOCK SALE
SMALL YARDINGS. POOR ATTENDANCE. There was a poor attendance at the Wanganni East stock sale yesterday and bidding lacked animation. The yarding of both sheep and cattle was on the small side. The following are the quotations:— Cattle.—4 young heifers, £1 6s; fat cows, £6 10s; store cows, £1 10s to £2 ss; yearling heifers, £1 6s. .Sheep.—l 43 wethers, £1 12s 2d; 56 wetners, £1 6s.
