AFTER 57 YEARS
MAORI WAR RECALLED. VETERANS MEET ON HISTORIC SPOT. There was an interesting re union yesterday on the site of the Wairoa Redoubt, where the Waverley War Memorial has been erected. Four survivors of the 65 pioneers who built the redoubt in 1868 met together again. They were: Mr. Wm. Robertson, aged 91; Mr. John Dickie, aged 88; Mr. Adam Wilkie, aged 76; Mr. Alex.
