THE WEATHER
FORECAST FOR TO-DAY. MODERATE TO STRONG WINDS. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Out. 28. The Government Meteorologist issued the following forecast to-day:— Present indications are for moderate to strong south-east winds, backing to northerlies northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and northerlies prevailing freshening elsewhere. Weather fair generally, and warmer soon, but cloudiness increasing for a change to follow, especially in the West Coast and southern districts. Barometer falling everywhere shortly.
