ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUICIDE WHILE DEPRESSED [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Oct. 24. Duncan Mclntosh, aged 40, single, was found hanging this morning Iron, the kitchen door. He had been very depressed. A verdict was returned of suicide as the result of a sudden impulse. RACING APPRENTICE HURT [Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, Oct. 24.
J. Leach, a racing apprentice, when riding First Prince on the training track, was thrown and dragged, sustaining severe injuries to his head, shoulders and arms. No hones were broken. He was taken to hospital. A BOY’S FATAL FALL AUCKLAND, Oct. 24. Mcrvyn Knight, aged thirteen, residing at Mangere, was seriously injured by a fall from a bicycle when riding home from school at Onehunga. He died in the Auckland Hospital.
