AN UNWANTED CHILD
ALLEGED MURDER. YOUNG MAORI WOMAN CHARGED [Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, Oct. 24. Following the finding of the body of an infant in the To Arai River on October 8, a Maori woman named Pourewa Maru, aged 22, was charged at the Police Court with the murder of her infant male child. She was remanded to October 30.
