SYDNEY AND BRISBANE SERIES CONCLUDE PRICES SHOW ADVANCE. Received October 23, 10.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 23. October series of the wool sales closed. All the best features of the week were reproduced, with keen animated competition. Late rates were 'Well maintained. BRISBANE, Oct. '23. The fourth series of wool salso ofided. Competition keen and well sustained. Prices, compared with last series, generally advanced five to ten per cent. AT ANTWERP. ■ COARSE CROSSBREDS ADVANCE. Received October 23, 10.5 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 22. At the Antwerp wool sales 4554 bqlcs were offered and 1633 sold. Merinos and fine crossbreds were ten per cent above the July rates. Coarse crossbreds . were fifteen per cent above. I There were largo withdrawals, due chiefly to high reserves.
