COLERIDGE TUNNEL DISASTER
THIRD BODY IN SIGHT. FUNERAL OF McDONALD. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 23. The body of Richard Green, the third victim of the Lake Coleridge tragedy, is now in sight of the men who are' carrying out the works of recovery in the tunnel and should be brought out at one o’clock to-morrow morning. It will be taken to the West Coast for burial. The funeral of Archibald McDonald, whose body was recovered on Wednesday night, took place this afternoon in Prebbleton Cemetery. Mr F. Langbein (district engineer) represented the Public Works Department, and Mr J. Ballwin, the New Zealand Workers’ Union-. Others present included Messrs J. Beban (leader of the Lake Coleridge cooperative party) and G. Archer and H. Daly, who had been entombed in tha tunnel for two days.
