FATAL CROWDING
AT EGYPTIAN PAIR 54 KILLED AND 43 INJURED Received Oct. 23, 7.25 p.m. (Router) CAIRO, Oct. 22. Fifty-four were killed and fortythree injured at the annual fair at Tantah, attended by nearly a million people, while mounted police were endeavouring to clear the way for one of the Ministers. MAD STAMPEDE. VICTIMS TRAMPLED TO DEATH Received Oct. 23, 10.10 p.m. CAIRO, Oct. 22. Those killed at Tantah fair were trampled to death in a mad stampede of the huge crowd.
