CRICKET
SEASON OPENS NEXT SATURDAY THE SENIOR DRAW The cricket season will open on Saturday next, October 31. The senior draw is as under: United play Marists on Cook’s Gardens. Old Boys play Collegiate School on the College Ground. Wanganui have drawn a bye. The junior competition will not start until the following Saturday, November 7. Two junior teams, however, will be selected to play College A and College B, on the College Ground. Junior members able to take part in these two matches are asked to hand in their names to Mr G. Eeles, care of the Post Office. All these matches start at 2 p.m. sharp. Practice will start on Wednesday next in Cook’s Gardens.
