RECORD-BREAKING HOME BUILDING
“Prohibition has increased home building. The increase in tho number of contracts for residential buildings has been record breaking since the Eighteenth Amendment went into effect. About one-half of the building operations of the past year were for residences. ” About 41 per cent, of the number of residences being constructed are of th« working man’s home type, it is estimated.
