A PETROL TAX
FORESHADOWED BY PRIME MINISTER.
(Special to “Chronicle.”) HELENSVILLE, Oct. 22. “Personally, I am perfectly certain New Zealand will be tackling a petrol tax very soon,” said the Prime Minister at his Port Albert meeting. “You will be hitting tho milking machines,” one of tho audience interjected. “Oh, no,” said Mr Coates, “there will be provision for that kind of thing. ”
